Extra attention in case of complicated grief:
Be alert for complicated
grief:
Being pulled back and forth
between the old and new situation: Feelings of guilt, shame and/or
anger that you as the grieving person cannot accept.
Dependency: Can
you live independently?
If not: in this period of processing your loss, it is
desirable that you continue to build your self-confidence.
With this blog I give you tools on how to do that.
Separated from your
child(ren) and in-laws: Attention to meaning in your life;
attention to the relationship between grandparents, parents and your children.
Unexpected separation:
Thinking about and discussing the why question; saying goodbye (possibly
with the help of rituals).
Traumatic loss:
Acknowledging the loss and the trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder.
In case of suicide:
Acknowledging of both negative and positive feelings, why-question,
negative reactions from the environment.
Multiple losses:
Discussing each loss separately.
Unacknowledged losses:
Offering recognition, investigating what form of support you need.
